I never much cared for Mark Warner.  Not necessarily because of his politics, but because he always came off to me as a snake oil salesman.  He was not a bad governor, because he was smart and shrewd.

He broke his campaign promise of no tax increase, but it took him 3 years to do that, and he conned a bunch of dopey Republicans to back his gambit!  I do admire him in one respect.  I think he is a very sharp and smart man!

His sucessor, Warner II, is a man named Tim Kaine.  He looks like a real nerd, but with a soft side.  I have never been impressed with him either.  As mayor of Richmond, he did nothing, but that is not a fair assessment.  Because before, Mayors were not elected, they went round robin on the elected council members.  Still, he did not even try to be good.  He just strutted and preened.

But before his inauguration, he did something very stupid!  He Appointed Viola Baskerville to an important cabinet post.  Now for those not conversant in local Virginia Politics, think of Shirley Jackson Lee.  About the same brain power and the same mouth to boot.!  That is Viola.

So I started to think "Is this guy stupid?". Well, I did not have to think long.  He confirmed it!

6 days into his administration, he is proposing a tax hike!  never mind that Warner rammed through a Billion dollar tax hike!  Never mind the state is enjoying record surplusses to the extent they will soon have to start refunding some of them based upon state law!  No!  Perish the thought!

he wants more!  So I can safely say that Tim Kaine is a freaking idiot.  A real dolt, and in the vein of Jery Gerry Baliles!  Needless to say, he just blew most of Warner's good will.  I hope the stupid Repubicans here will not be snookered twice, but then Warner was a snake oil salesman, and Kaine is more like Curly!

I don't know much about Tim Kaine, but he really must have some problems for you to come out and actually call him all those names. Normally you only hand out one or two stupids at a time.

I'd trade you any day. You can have Bush's lackey Mitch Daniels. The only thing in Indiana he's seemed especially concerned with so far is our time zone.

You can take him!  Like I said, I dont like Warner, but I respect him.  But Kaine has not earned anything and is trying to capitalize on it.  What would you call it?

Yes, but not sure when it was. I thought maybe it was today? But if you saw it already......must be past history. He also marched in Bush's and that was a thrill of a lifetime for him.
