Equal Protection - Unless you are in the Majority

We have had a lot of articles about discrimination and persecution.  And all have had a point.  But this is not going to be one that Rah Rahs them or even supports them.

Why?  Because simply and succinctly Affirmative action is discrimination,  Pure and simple.  If you are in the majority, you have no rights.  Because why?  Did you enslave someone? No. Did you discriminate against someone? No.  Did you deny someone of their rights or privileges? No.

So why?

because of the color of your skin of the content of your creed.  You can be Mother Theresa, but you are guilty as sin and must be punished!

So says Affirmative action

Others will scream it is to make up for past injustices.  OK, so who has been injusticed about lately?  Bring them nigh and we will correct the problem.

But that is the problem.  NO one has in the last 40 years (with some non legal exceptions).  Yet we continue to make some people second class citizens because of no fault of their own.  Only the fault of their birth.

That sounds like bigotry and racism to me.

But then I am just a stupid cracker/nigger/spic/redskin/pollack/chezk or any other name you want you want to call me.  I can never understand that I am not being judged by the character of myself, but by the stereotypes that others want to pigeon hole me as.

My ancestors were slaves.  But because most of them were European, and only some of them were African., I don't have the same rights as others.

And I am supposed to be a bigot and racist?

Unhappy as I am to say this as a majority, it is partially our fault this happened. In any other country, in any other time in history, you don't see the conquering army apologizing to the people they just defeated. To the victor go the spoils! That is the way of both nature and mankind. It is when the victor starts giving the loser special privileges that the tides begin to turn. We have become captives and servants in our own country, imprisoned by bars of legislature of our own making.

I agree completely.  It is long overdue.  We dont need to now discriminate against others to prove we are not discrimating against others.  Even the statement sounds stupid.

The very idea of Affirmative Action sends shivers down my spine. It is just another way, as far as I'm concerned, of saying racist, bigoted and proud. I can't stand pigeon-holing. It is a way of compartmentalising people to control them. Wrong, wrong, wrong...

Hiring someone because they are white= racist!

Putting a minority ahead of whites= fair play and just

Putting a white ahead of a minority= racist and unjust.

Having a black miss America contest. great idea to lift up the black race.

Having a white miss America contest, racist and discriminates.

Black Muslims= uplifts the down troddin of the country.

KKK= racist, bigoted group.

In the end, the ones who lose are those C students.  For instead of going to a college where they can get an education, they get washed out for the sake of race. And that is not doing anyone any good.
