I Can't Get It Out Of My Head...Game

So, I'm standing in line at the Sunoco...and some hyperactive-yuppie-dweebtard behind me starts singing.."Chim-chimeny-chim-chimeny-chim chim cheroo..."

It's gonna takes me weeks to get that out of my head.

What's stuck in your head?

Great Po! I haven't seen Mary Poppins in years (and more years), now I'll have it going AND tomorrow I'll be singing it in a really bad accent!

Can't git outta my head when I heard our P.M, lil Johhny say: "I'm Proud to be Australian."

Got right up my nose cos nobody else here is proud he is.....instead downright ashamed comes to mind.

Well, it's no good without the accent.

ANGEL
Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it OK
There's always some reason to feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction or a beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
Let me be empty and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of the Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of the Angel far away from here
(not the whole song, but beautiful and haunting)

This is the sing that never ends,
Yes it goes on and on my friends,
Some people started singing it,
Not knowing what it was,
And they'll continue singing it forever just because...

Another thing I can't get out of my head is the screeching on the blackboard at school, a practice one perticular teacher performed regularly to ensure our undivided attention.
She may have found it music to her ears, but every time I have to go into the educational supplies aisle in the supermarket, spot the chalks, I'm immediately transported back to class and that dreaded sound. AAAArrrrggghhhh

But the one song that does enter and refuses to leave is 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin. I just annoys the crap out of me that somebody can be that 100% optomistically happy.....and what am I supposed to do when I'm feeling blue, paint on a smile? Huh! I'm just not into wearing lipstick

doom...des-pair
and a-go-ny on me.

deep dark de-pression
excessive mis-er-y

if it weren't for bad luck
i'd have no luck at a-l-l

doom...despair...and a-go-ny on me.

Been fighting the crud for a week now. I've blown enough stuff out of my head to build my own Mini-me booger boy. Does this count?

If I were you, Cyberworld, I'd be taking a trip to see the doc.....SOMETHING HAS TO STICK, unless somebody performed a secret lobotomy while you were sleeping

The only other explanation that comes to mind....you're unconscious and the addiction to WC just has you running on auto pilot

Something metal with a wooden handle!

Been arguing with the missus lately....and when she said 'ok then, let's bury the hatchet', didn;t think she meant it literally

Don't Worry, Be Happy....and I'll be darned if I can find how to turn off auto repeat
