TabletPC Woes

Mouse lag with XPTPC

I have read that people have issues (as I do) with TabletPC and horrible mouse lag. What services need to be disabled on the TPC device for Multiplicity to work well? Thanks!

I have a Viewsonic 1250 and have seen some lag when the mouse is over ActiveX componants in a browser on the secondary. [That sentence had WAY too many modifiers!]

I wouldn't catagorize it as horrible though. Far from it. Any lag (outside of that) is infrequent and caused by wicked bad network traffic {I think}

Does your mouse lag ALL the time, MOST of the time, SOME of the time?

Some -- when using any graphics programs, when browsing (firefox and IE), when using trillian... Pretty much all of the time. I saw a thread with a similar problem and the user "disabled" TPC services -- I just want to know which ones. Im on the new thinkpad X tablet FWIW.

I think the link you want is here: Link

But there is not much detail . . . and the trade-off may be some Tablet functions. Il Duce (the user who removed the services) was in contact with Mike (at Stardock) via the newsgroups (stardock.thinkdesk.multiplicity @ news.stardock.com).

For completeness sake, what version of MP are you using?
