I do not see how WB of any version would kick you off the internet. Have you made any changes to your internet options lately, or downloaded and installed new software lately?

Sounds like a firewall issue. I had all kinds of problems with Norton's security suite. It wouldn't allow Firefox, Wincustomize browser, IconX, and some other stuff to do the things they were programmed to do. It all went away when I went back to my preferred firewall vendor. Might not be your problem, but I'd say it's worth checking into.

i have Nortons Suite 2005 and i have no problem with my broswer but agree with tameddragon it does not sound like a WB's problem though WB 4 is not a native prgram so it uses more system resoures so may be when window blinds is loaded not enough juice left for your modem just a thought

Being diconnected from the Internet and not being able to click on bookmarks or any of the,,top headings,,,file,,,edit ,view,,etc sound like 2 separate issues to me.
If you are saying you are 'kicked off the Internet because you are unable to click a button, etc., the problem may lie with something (possibly a program) intercepting your mouse clicks.
I recall a thread in which some program was mentioned that caused an issue simmilar to what you describe as far as not being able to click while having a browser open. Can't remember the name, offhand. Perhaps someone else may recall.
