Why does Objectdock disappear after I exit BF2?

So almost everytime when I quit BF2, objectdock would for some reason disappear and I'm pretty much left useless because I setup my laptop so that the only thing showing on my desktop is objectdock. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to get into "New Task" and search for the object executable to restart it. Anyone else get this bug?

Put a shortcut to it with DX.

When you say disappear, do you mean OD closes completely or you just can't see it anymore? Is it still in the Windows Task Manager?

Hmmm good question. I will have to check the manager when it does it again. Also what do you mean put a shortcut to it with DX?

with desktopx you can create an object to use as a shortcut

i just scrolled through all programs to object dock, then right clicked on it and pinned it to the start menu

I dont think she has a Start Menu.

In DesktopX, go into the Builder, create a new shortcutAnd point the action to a file shortcut, objectdock.exe

Does she have Explorer.exe running?

Oh, and sometimes IconX can overlap things like objectdock.

Nessal is only using Object Dock, no DX no IconX. As for Explorer.exe, I don't know enough about Windows to know of any reason it would not be running.

Hi guys. Yeah the only thing that I have running is Objectdock. Just yesterday, the objectdock has been disappearing for no reason when I was just surfing the net or opening up any random program. I have no idea why it's doing that. I will format my computer and reinstall Windows XP MCE and see if it cures the problem.

0_o!!

Hold off! That will almost surely NOT solve your problem. Its just how ObjectDock is layered, and I believe there is a docklet that will close OD, then restart it before and after fullscreen games are ran.

Is that docklet for standard or Plus?

Neato. Might have to try it myself.
