DesktopX Crashes when I try to edit scripts

I'm having a problem with DesktopX crashing any time I try to edit a script. I can import and use objects and widgets fine, but as soon as I try to edit the script on a widget, it shuts down. I'm running DesktopX 3.1 on XP Pro SP1 (SP2 can go fornicate itself with an iron stake). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ok,

 got the same issue here..

Anyone know how we can get this fixed?

If I click on EDIT on an existing script - BOOM

If I clock on NEW on a new script - BOOM

All gone.

I sent in a crash log on wednesday.

Hmm it's bit different for me. It' just a certain activex object that causes desktopx to crash when I edit a object that uses that activex object.

Try going to Start->Run and typing each of these (press enter after each):

regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Run this file: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/scripten.exe
and restart your system.

Hope that helps!
