UFO reported over Shanghai

A man named Hu told the Xinmin Evening News he saw the UFO in the sky near the Outer Ring Road in Xinzhuan area at 4:30pm. It was visible for about 5 minutes, Hu said.

A man named Luo said he saw a bright oval object flying west towards Jiuting Town at 5pm when he was near Qibao Town. He tried to take a picture of it with his digital camera, but failed. Link

.... I find it so interesting how many sightings are made daily, but hardly get any reported in the mainstream media. Either there is a cover-up going on here or the government are involved in some way (e.g. they are testing new aircraft which they don't want the rest of us to know about).

What Mission Have We Accomplished?

There are no good choices for the President to make in dealing with Iraq, only a few that are less bad. He should change course now, and salvage as much as he can. Link

.....So it looks like Bush and his puppets will be in Iraq for some time yet, fighting what I believe to be afake and unnecessary war. I feel sorry for those who are fighting this war in Iraq as they are being led to believe that they are doing some good rather than being Bush's puppets and not much else. What exactly is there left to be done in Iraq? Destroy the country some more? They have Saddam and will ultimately have him killed, so what else is left? Oh yes. World domination. I forgot.

Drama at SuicideGirls.com

That bastion of alt-porn allure, Suicide Girls, is in trouble -- and not just because of its increasingly boundary-pushing content (recent images involving blood and S&M were pulled from the site after public criticism).

The site is actually being lambasted by its own models -- pierced, tattooed 20-something "punk-rock and goth girl" pin-ups. Link

....C'mon girls! what did you expect? You are entering yourself onto an online porn site for the more disserning alternative perv to look at. And now they realise that they have been treated unfairly? Just another way of getting more publicity probably. Bugger I've just added to it. Oh well.

And lastly, as it's World AIDS Day.....

UN urges "exceptional response" to AIDS crisis

The United Nations used World AIDS Day on Thursday to call for an "exceptional response" to the global crisis as African patients criticized politicians for failing to tackle a disease that kills millions each year.

The United Nations said that while adult infection rates had dropped in some countries due to increased use of condoms and changes in sexual behavior, the epidemic continued to grow.Link

....And this is from Reuters incase you are scared of the alternative way of thinking!
