This may seem like a stupid question, but is there some way to nominate people anonymously, perhaps by e-mail? This is only my fourth day here and I'm kind of afraid to make public some of my opinions in these categories for fear of turning some people against me before they even know me. Also, I think that if everyone just makes their choices public, it could lead to bias in people as they would try to rally votes for and against someone and lead to a conflict that could be easily avoided. Just a suggestion.

Yes eight gates that would go under most annoying.
I would prefer the selections to be made public as well but I left it up to choice just incase there were some who would prefer to remain anonymous.

Thanks Dan, but for the record, the e-mail address was added to the original post AFTER I asked my question. I just felt I should point that out seeing as how I have a feeling this topic is going to be getting a lot of traffic and I don't really feel like having everyone think I'm a moron.

Also, I'd just like to say I think it's quite noble and brave of you to go first Dan and I'd like to wish you, along with everyone else, the best of luck, though I don't think you'll be needing it.

4. BEST NEW COMING BLOGGERIt's a tie for me. Ben... I love his comments and I love his stuff, Ben you rock! Dharmagrl, too. I like you too! It's been interesting getting to know you!
5. MOST ANNOYING BLOGGER Pete. Nice act... boring to keep reading. The only way that I would continue to read him, is if he did an about face and started really writing some good stuff. He's got our attention... if only he would do something to make it worthwhile

8. MOST SENSUOUS BLOGGER JEPEL... there's nothing better than an exploring Frenchman! I'm trying my damndest to read his French blog but would be 100% satisfied with an audio blog....
9. MOST INTERESTING BLOGGER Mack/N.G.E ... if this were 'real' life and we all had the opportunity to get together... I'd suspect that I'd want to hang out with him most... never a boring time. Intelligent, thoughtful, funny, deep. Talking aside, there'd always be interesting music playing in the background, books galore, and I'd always know what his mood was like!
10. MOST MYSTERIOUS BLOGGER Phantom of the Night.... blogging like crazy and then *poof* gone. Wtf happened to him?

I think this is the best idea for this site since I joined here. I hope the idea will be expanded to envision a 'oscar night' for bloggers. It can begin here and then expand to link to other blog sites and maybe become a real notable event in the blog world. I suggest a committee as a think tank with GCJ to consider how best to make it work and consideration of its use to increase visibility and standing of the site as a whole. This, like the USS joeuser idea is a positive idea and I am very glad to see it coming about.
Thanks for the uplift to my blogging it gave me.

That was the whole idea Anne, to get people to do more reading of other bloggers. Some people may not be aware that they also receive points for reading other blogs and making comments. No one likes a a person that does all the talking. Its ok to talk but its also good to listen to what others are saying. GCJ
