Iconpacker installed and cant play COunter Strike Source

This is quite the dilemma....first of all, I love iconpackager 3.0 and the cool new icons. But after I installled it and applied my favorite icon (hazard), I couldnt play my favorite game(counter strike source). Immediately after installation and rebooting, I click to start my game and it says,"THIS GAME IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE".

So then I uninstall and the game works again. I reintalled iconpackager and the game doesnt work AGAIN. So obviously my conclusion is that there is a software conflict somewhere, but where??? I am without a doubt that it is affecting the game directly.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can lend me as these two titles are two of the most important softwares on my pc. PLEASE help. Thanks

I myself run both programs regularly, but am not encountering any issues:

CS + IP Playing together!

At which point does it give you the error message?

Thanks for the reply. I am very desperate so please stick with me. The game is giving me the message after the Valve loads and then it tries to load the game. It says "game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time." Ive tried reinstalling the new version of iconpackager as well as the old 2.5. Ive even reinstalled CSS with no luck. Still the same message. Ive comtemplated on reinstalling windows to see if it fixes the problem but it seems so tedious. I just gotta have iconpackager. Thanks for your help.

It's iprepair.dll thats causing this, after you remove that dll the game fires up.

Thanks for the reply. To answer your question the problem is with 2.5 and 3.0. Ive tried reinstalling both versions twice but no luck. It even makes my Windows Help and Support program not work either.

Citizen vf. Its funny that you ask about iprepair.dll. What exactly is that file? I ask because I emailed Tech support and they too asked about that file if I have it in the folder. What does the file do? They asked me and I replied that I do have the file but they didnt pursue that question any further so I thought it wasnt important. Have you had the same problem Citizen? I dont have Iconpackager installed but I will try installing it and deleting that file. Thanks a million and God bless you if it works. But God bless you anyways even if it doesnt.

So guys...what exactly is iprepair.dll?

This file might be in the game you are playing, especially if its an online game. The name implies, to me, that it is a dll that helps keep your connection. I don't know exactly what it is, nor do I know if finding it and removing it would help. But If you were to remove it, copy it to a location you can find easily later and try it out...who knows, might work.

see if going into IconPackager Menu to Tools and unchecking the Repair Shell Icons helps.

if not, try this: Start/ Run: regsvr32 /u "C:\program files\stardock\object desktop\iconpackager\iprepair.dll" and reboot.
