Most folks now own some kind of Personal media player, Discman,MP3 player,Portable DVD player,etc...lets see some of the inventive ways you use them...
I my recent toy is a Zvue Media player (it plays MP3,wav,Mpeg4 video,as well as displays jpeg images and can display text like books on disc)
In my never ending endeavor for better sound in my car, I got creative.
I took the media player and went crazy...first I took a extending CB mic holder and installed it in the dash. Then I mounted the Zvue to it with Velcro. I then took a headphone to rca adaptor and patched the zvue directly in to my 3 amplifiers.. I now have a Car sterio with an unlimited amount of music and movies to watch ,no CD's skipping any more. and the best part is all i have to do is unplug the head phone jack and take it with.. no worries abt any body lookin in and seeing a high $$ Dash unit and Bustin my window it get it ... heres a pic i took just after finishing the installation...(the Eclipse Head unit has been removed and a blank Plate put in its spot),,,
I too have done this with my Work truck now i can take my music and movies with every where i go:)
