More Hypocrisy from the Left Leadership

One of the most common lectures you will get from the liberal leadership is the old and tired "do as I say, not as I do".  This is a very common one for parents when raising children, and the liberal leadership thinks that all americans are children, so why not keep saying it?

These are the same people who 6 years ago said:

That is just the tip of the iceberg.  For we also have Nancy Pelosi, the champion of Unions, refusing to allow unions on her Vineyards or the restaurants she owns.  Or Ralph Nader who champions them as well, only to fire his editor for trying to unionize oneof his publications.

How about Ted Kennedy railing against the rich, and then hiding most of his money in off shore trusts to avoid taxes? And George Soros?  The champion of the little guy?  Doing the same thing.

And then there is just outright lying for convenience sake.  Michael Moore Says the stock market is evil as are those bad corporations.  Yet he has owned or does own stock in Halliburton, Merck, Pfizer, Sunoco, Tenet Healthcare, Ford, General Electric and McDonald's.

Then there is the Mouth that Snored, Al Franken.  He calls conservatives racist, yet in 15 years he has hired less than 1% minorities in his failed enterprises (perhaps best for the minorities).

So you see children, it is easy to be a liberal.  Do whatever you want, but tell everyone else what you want them to do, not what you have done.  For they are just sheeple being led to the slaughter by the modern day Napolean and Snowball.

DG...do you ever think on YOUR own? All I see you do around here is re-post items you find elsewhere whether they are true or not.

For example...

Does the fact that the workers at businesses that were invested in, or owned by Pelosi are not union mean the same as your statement that she "refuses to allow unions" ? Do you have knowledge that the employees tried to unionize and she squashed it? You do not, because that's not what happened. Do you know what percentage of resaurant workers in this country actually are union? Are unions in this industry are the exception or the norm?

What case are you referring to about Nader? The one in 1984 where he fired staff members over a war about editorial content? You know the one where they tried to form a union after he fired them? Or are you talking about the case where he advised them to form an in house union, which they then did?

Tell me about all these "failed enterprises" where Al Franken didn't hire minorities. How many people has he hired? How many were minorities?

You often spout rhetoric about liberals being like sheep. You are the epitome of a sheep. You don't know the circumstances or reliability of any of this "info" that you put forward in this post. I bet you haven't even read the book.

What facts did you state? You don't know that anything you posted there. That's my point...you always put things out there as facts, but you don't have any information that confirms them to be fact.

I don't mind anyone opining, just don't float crap out there and tell people they are facts when you don't know that they are facts.

Nancy Pelosi, the House Minority Leader, accepted the Cesar Chavez Award from the United Farm Workers Union in 2003. She constantly spouts about the imperative of hiring union labor. But she contracts out the grape-picking on her own vineyard to non-UFW firms. She's also a part owner of some restaurants and a hotel. No union labor there, either.

Schweizer: Nancy Pelosi bashes everyone who doesn't allow unions to call the shots. Everyone that is except herself. It's takes an amazing amount of gall to accept the Cesar Chavez Award from the United Farmworkers Unions while using non-UFW workers on your Napa Valley Vineyard. It takes the same to praise the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union and take massive sums of money from them all the while keeping them out of your Hotel and chain of restaurants. But again, I think Pelosi correctly assumes that no one in the media will challenge her on this.

This is pointless. You still haven't shown anything to back up either you or Schweizer's claims. The fact that the employees at her restaurants have not chosen to unionize themselves, doesn't prove that she wouldn't allow it.

I'm confident that you haven't read the book because I think you would have quoted from the book itself if you had, as opposed to quoting a reporter talking about the book.
