These are taken out of Ken's portfolio. These have reminded me of the cushy and trouble-free occurences that keep us all sane everyday. I dunno where exactly in the Philippines these were taken, but anyway, these really look refreshing. 
I haven't gone nature tripping lately, and hopefully I could do one this summer. I was yakking over the phone with Ken just the other night, and he was recounting their hike to Banawe sometime August last year. It wasn't really the perfect season to brave the rough terrain, but my friends (as Arlo would most often metaphorically describe it) just set free their spirit as they endured (what would seem like a great deal) hunger and physical exhaustion being mountaineering greenhorns themselves. They spent a day or two on the highlands eating corn and Pansit. Shoot! Can't live on that staple. lolz! Well, I just can't wait to go on a nature trek. I promise myself to bring cans of tuna.
