this is gonna kill ya doc, but I scored 61% dixie. I guess that is because my heart still gives a rebel yell, btw I use to give a rebel yell in a freefire zone firefight.

71% (Dixie).  That is a pretty strong Southern score!

I think I got lowered because of my California years.

This is wierd: I got 55% Dixie. That is wierd, eh?

Except there was one where the "proper" term wasn't an option.

18. What's the night before Halloween called?
I don't use any word for this
Devil's night
Mischief night
Cabbage night
The "correct" answer is gate night

That's what I get for having a confused family tree. Dad's from Connecticut, Mom's from Alabama (her dad's from upstate NY, though). Really confused.

But, hey! I left my heart in Dixie, and I plan on goin' back to get it. Dadgum sneak thief.

Y'all come back now, ya hear?

I grew up in Newport News, Virginia, but have lived in MinneSOHta a long time since then. Should've seen the looks on my cousin's face when I asked her to crack the window. Just about the same on mine when she asked if I wanted a pop, I said sure and she brought me a Coke instead of a popsicle.

I was 72% Dixie. I expected it to be higher, hehe.

hey doc< what do ya think about a new york city boy scoring so high on dixie? hm??
43% barely a yankee, although I do say y'all pretty frequently.

Also noticed that if you keep clicking the compute my score button, without changing any answers, it will gradually tick up to 100%.

Some are born in dixie by the grace of God. Others are adopted because they belong there!

Not really applicable though - all but one of those pronunciation questions I had to pick the one closest to how I actually say it.

aunt sounds like ant? What the hell? Where's the option for sounds like aren't?

Yikes, Does it show that much? I am just not a good ol' boy. Good to see that four years in Texas didn't change me.
Only question I had a problem with was a drive-thru liquor store is... a DRIVE THRU LIQUOR STORE! How hard is that?
And the night BEFORE Halloween?! What are you playing at?
