Red Sox, White Sox, Blue Sox, Green Sox......

Right, well, pardon the title, its monday.

Well, in case you haven't heard. The Chicago White Sox are going to the world series. Whats that you say? *The* white sox? The same organization that threw the 1919 world series, and lost to the dodgers in '59? Yep, the same. Although they've changed stadiums and players, the same 'ol "rodney dangerfield" like team. Forget the Red Sox (Just kidding...). This is the White sox year to shine. After Sweeping the defending world series champs :'( and charging back after a loss to the angels, they've done it.

Now, who will they face? The Astros? The Cardinals? If its to be the Cardinals, then the Cards need to do something quick, cause they're on the verge of elimination. The Astros (Suprisingly) have been on a streak, this is there second straight NLCS appearance.

My pick: White Sox v.s. Astros

Winner: White Sox (7 Games)

Since my beloved Red Sox are out of the running... I think it would be cool to see the White Sox take the Series, and I think you're right. It will be the Astros over the Cards.

Are we in some kind of strange come-uppance cycle? Last year, the RED SOX, not kidding you, the RED SOX won. Is this the year that the WHITE SOX, wait a minute, the WHITE SOX are going to win it all? This is kinda spooky.

If the Red Sox and White Sox win on some kind of cyclical basis, then I will alert my grandkids to their next times to shine, sometime at the end of the 21st century.

White Sox in 6.

ROFLMAO!

Yeah, I've got to say that there seems to be a new age of baseball. I mean, look at the yankees, they used to frequent the WS... and its been what? 4 years since they were there? And they lost it the last time... Its the full moon i tell ya!

You guys do know whose turn it is *next* year, right??? CUBS!!! :D:D:D:D

4 years since they were there?

They were there 5 years ago to!  And they won.  Do you KNOW WHO THAT WAS AGAINST?

4 years is no the same as 20. Or 22.

hmmm...lets see, 2001, it was D-Backs, 2002, they lost to the angels, 03, the lost to the marlins (correction, they have made the WS, but lost), 04, it was the Red Sox, 05, the angels (again), and 2000, it was the "subway series"

See, i do know my baseball WS.....at times....

Hey, don't start with me on the 4, 20,22, I'm a cubs fan, they haven't won a world series since...when? Oh yeah, 1908!

So there!

(Yankers fan?) True, but boston still won... (Didn't the yankees get swept?)

The Cubs last won in 1908 and The White Sox last won a World Series in 1917, and they had the Black Sox scandal in 1919. Isn't it funny that they have thrown a Series before they have won another one?

Houston hasn't even been in a World Series since joining the league in 1962. Texas Rangers haven't been in a Series, either.

Who has it hardest- fans from Texas or fans from Chicago?

I feel sorry for young Yankee fans. Do you know that there's 5 year olds that haven't experience their Yankees winning a Series?

Whattaya mean "at least they beat boston"????? Just when I was thinking we were beginning a beautiful friendship, doc. I just don't know if I can tolerate a Yankees fan... hehe...

I'm open minded... I'm support two teams. The Red Sox and anyone that beats the Yankees.

Fighting words? Whats that?

, ok ok...ya got me... I've gotta hand it to the mets, they are definantly doing better.... though, i mean, its NY! Wish Portland (Oregon) could have gotten the expos... .(I did hear that the nationals may fall through, apparently people don't care for the "incentives"...(taxes,etc...) needed for the stadium,etc....)

(And portland was right behind washington.....so.....perhaps.... if not, there's always '08 for baseball And '07/'08 for Football)

though, i mean, its NY!

I know, and since I never want to visit NY again, it is going to make it tough to see home games.
