This is an email I wrote to anti-violent video game "crusader" Jack Thompson ([email protected]) after reading about an exchange between Jack and Penny Arcade's Mike Krahulik (Gabe):

Mr. Thompson,
     I find it humorous that gamers have overwhelmed your offering of $10,000 to produce a video game annually with www.childsplaycharity.org. Frankly I think your 10K offer is quite paltry and also fairly disingenous. Truly you are a strange, small, and helpless man obsessed with an idiotic quest based on a ridiculous theory. Zealots like you do not help your causes but serve merely to distract from whatever worthy cause that you would donate the 10K to in any case.
     Additionally it is repugnant to actually call someone and scream at them (Mike Krahulik of Penny Arcade) when you are supposed to be championing the cause of nonviolence. "jackpeace" indeed sir? Feel free to call and scream at me too if you find it theraputic.

I don't know if you should email him or not with your feelings on the issue as I do beleive that his email box is broken fromt he overwhelming response already sent.

Jack is a fiplin Cratard (Crazy And retarted Should write that down!) The Media promotes violence more then videogaming however anyone who "claims" that they comited crimes because of videogames or of such is because they are Cratards! anyways if i have to kill the bastard just so religon doesn't take over the gaming industry then so be it! i mean The US Govt. was suposed to have a seperation of church and state ETC. but in recent years Religon HAS taken most of the control over the Govt. and even though if Jack isn't Religous hes following their ideals Its so good that im not tied down by the Christan church! they more evil (in my oppion) than the catholic church (who are actually a tad bit more restrictive) not to offend anyone... but a bit of it is true...Actually... 10k is barely anything! Try A few Hundred thousands for a Good game maybe even Millions?

Well I remember writing a letter to him around 9 months ago..

I cant remember much about the letter but I know his reply went was: "Stop hiding behind an alias junior, Come back when you have some guts."

Fortunatly though I am not american, And all of his efforts have been directed there.

It looks like he contacted Penny Arcade about this (as there was an email sent in a similar fashion to yours). Any phone calls yet?
