Coming Soon to TotalGaming.net...

Since several of our TGN members have asked for previews of what's upcoming on TotalGaming, I figured now would be a good time. ;)

Coming in October/November on TotalGaming.net:

- Tribal Trouble from Oddlabs: In this fast-paced 3D RTS, players will pit themselves against either island natives or Viking raiders. Trible Trouble has been programmed entirely in Java and features remarkable 3D graphics, a single-player campaign, Internet multiplayer, and massive battles with up to 900 tribesman.

- GameHouse / RealArcade Games: Also coming soon to TotalGaming are select titles from the GameHouse / RealArcade catalog. More details on this down the line. ;)

I'm finding all this political activism kinda scary.

I'm finding it strange, especially with the lack of punctuation...

For those of you who are burned out on RTS games, fear not. The other titles we plan to add this month are not in the strategy genre.

Hopefully no more shooters!

I can't remember what games I played from gamehouse, I did enjoy some of the puzzle games from puzzle labs.

Might be neat to get some older 4x type games....

I do fear. I like strategy and consider it to be incompatible with real time. RTS are tactics games imo, so the name RTS is bogus to start with.

Sorry, no 4X games are in the works outside of our own. No turn-based strategy games either at the moment (not too many around).

Well, there's Civ IV but indeed you can't publish such games if they aren't being made, and since you're making Galciv II you can't be blamed for not doing one either.
Let's just hope Civ IV will be a good game and some other companies get inspired by its success too.

I dont think we'll see Call to Power 3

Yes RTS can burn out an older gamer. When I was a youngster oh some 6 years ago I could play RTS with the best of them. My mind just worked much much faster. Beating players 1 vs 2 was easy, and an occasional 1 vs 3 was fun too, thou the best I could hope for was a tie and I'd wait them out.

Lowa11 - Take a breath after you type every 5 words and put either a comma or a period there. It will improve your commentary dramatically.

TGN- Would be very nice to see some older RPG titles in there as well.
