Freebuild Ship Idea

Hey this is just something that i came up with i dont know if anyone else has suggested anything like this before but i thinkt that it would be a cool thing to implement
to me the shipbuilding in Gal Civ 2 is extremely fun but you have to go through hours of the game before you can finally get to building the huge mega capital ships and for most of the time in the begining all you can do is make fighters with the small and tiny chasis or just use a cargo hull for an early capital ship. though the gameplay is simply amazing and will only get better with better pacing and such i think that it would be a cool idea if there could be an option on the main menu when you first open the game that will allow you to build any ship you wanted with all the parts and technologies that your little heart desires
then you could save these designs and while you play the game you can then just reasearch the technologies that are required to build the ships and then use them in the game
this would also make it much easier to have best ship build competitions becasue no matter what point you are in the game you would still be able to make all the hightech ships by just using the freebuild any time you wanted
