Friends vs. Accomplices.....Is there a difference, and......

should there be?

Ok, after having a discussion with a friend tonight i have this question to ask:

"Is it right to have 'associates' instead of friends?"

"Should one person be an associate, insead of a friend?" "Does it show any lack of repect?"

"Is there any difference?"

Just a few questions..

I don't get your question. Accomplice? Are you committing a crime of some sort?

To me...associate is someone you work with...and as for the rightness and wrongness of it all...who's to say? It depends on you and who YOU are.

I think that some people are just wired to have lots of "acquaintances" (I think that's the word you're wanting to use) and very few close friends, and other people are wired to have lots of close friends and few acquaintances. There's not really a moral "right or wrong" difference...it's just who you are.
