I think we should figure out how to...

I think we should, as normal memmbers of the community, figure out how we can support our admins.

Any ideas?

I have none other than paying them 100 dollars a week. But that sounds like such a... I don't know... dishonerable to the volunterr-ism that goes on around here.

Maybe we should make them some skins, or some honor skins? How about free tickets to a game or something? How about every year pitch in and give a few bucks or a gift to our admins who guard us against... stuff.

Any Ideas???

Perhaps the best way to pay back Moderators and Admins would be to encourage good behaviour on the boards, as well as spread the word about WinCustomize and Stardock. We/They volunteer for these positions because they want to help out the community. Part of what makes this job cool is that we/they *want* to do it, and are willing to put up with some of the more nefarious characters on the boards to do a good job.

I, personally, dont need any form of monetary payment, but hey, I know I'd love to have like, a Stardock or WinCustomize T-shirt or something at some point. As it is, I think Stardock makes sure the volunteers are compensated for some of what they do. Stardock is a great company, and they'd keep an eye on things to try to keep it fair.

I have no problems with being dishonoured in that way.

I'm with Hippy! If you really wish to insult me in such a manner, I can deal with it.

I think that all the moderators/Wizops/Admins etc, should get an expenses paid trip to Stardock HQ at least once a year.........strictly for business purposes of course. It would be a good opportunity to harrass..........    er, I mean, talkto, T-Man.

Seriously though, and speaking for myself, Stardock have been very good to me over the years, I have received lots of goodies and software, especially at christmas time. I have no complaints.

It WOULD be nice to visit Michigan sometime though, if only to have a beer with Koop.

In all seriousness, any Wizops that ever make it to the Boston area, I got some free Red sox tickets (2 per game) for you. Secret parking spot is included.

How about two then? o_O

It'd be nice if we could get a England-gathering of skinning entusiasts at some point. Be funny to actually meet the people in real life.

I'm from England too, and Bournemouth is a long way (though my uncle and his family live there).

I wouldn't travel all the way to the US for a beer though - they have no idea what real beer is
