Multiplicity Pro - Pre Sales

I am thinking of purchasing this amazing little program and have a few questions:

1. Is the Licence price, one time, or do you have to pay each year?
2. The Pro version supports file sharing, So if I have a 1gb file on the one computer, I can move it to the others? What's the speed that it downloads/Transfers? My internet connection is 4mb.
3. Do I get any discounts for being a Object Desktop customer?

1. The license structure is set up like most software licenses. When you purchase, you'll get version 1. All 1.x versions are included with your license. When 2.0 is released, if it is not free to you, it will likely be made available at a reduced rate.

3. There is not generally a discount for Multiplicity or Multipliciy Pro available to Object Desktop customers, and there is nothing available at this time. We are currently running a promotion on ThinkDesk for Object Desktop customers (email [email protected] for more information). However, ThinkDesk includes only the basic Multipliciy, not Pro.

2. And I tracked down the following answer to your question: The speed depends on the network itself. If it's a regular lan, right around 100mbps, depending on network traffic. Internet Connection speed doesn't factor into it as the Primary and Secondarys should all be on the local network. Be sure to know that to put the 1gb file on each of the secondarys, Multiplicity wont put it on all 4 with 'one-click.' The size shouldnt be a problem. But, if it's a 1gb, i'd recommend sharing a folder and copying the file that way.
