No it's not the the policemen and women also laying their lives down trying to save innocent women, children and men.

TRULY WAS, AND TO THINK THAT WE ARE HELPING THEM ESTABLISH a country of their own now. The looks of joy and happiness at the horror of the twin towers will be forever seared into my brain.

the connection was the palistian people celebreating the deaths and destruction of sept.11th

I agree that is something I will always remember about 9/11 the Palistinians dancing in the streets. But I will also always remember the look of utter fear and sadness in my than 11 yr old daughter kelsey as she got off the bus that day. She had heard about it in school and was scared that it would happen to us before she could get home to me. She could not or would ot sleep in her bed alone with out me there by her side. they took the innocence away from so many people that day, children and adults as well.

I would assume that in New Zealand it should be possible to read a history book. The land you refer to was Egyptian and Jordanian until they attacked Israel and lost it.

Similar things happened between Germany and Poland in the 1940s. Look up Pommerania and Prussia.

Or perhaps your definition of "stealing" is different than mine. Perhaps Poland stole Pommerania from Germany in World War II? Was that what happened?

What I think of first is seeing that first plane hit. My husband was in the shower and thought I was joking or confusing what I was seeing. "It couldn't be a commercial plane hitting the World Trade Center". I remember feeling sick to my stomache and then breaking down in tears when the second one hit. Then comes the memory of foreign scum celebrating. In other words, I hear ya MM.

That's funny because my history book said that the British won that land from the Ottoman Empire in a war the Ottoman Empire was involved in, allied to the agressors.
