And yet, the FACT that the Corp of Engineers spent $1.9 billion in Louisiana alone (#1, and $500 million more than the next highest state) and it went to stuff like ... oh, gee, what was that? Building a NEW lock from NO Harbor to the Mississippi River when it would have been cheaper (not to mention smarter) to repair/upgrade the existing lock? And that's at the direction of the great state of Louisiana. How about the $18 billion that Louisiana could come up w/ for charity, but can't come up with the matching funds for more federal money? Money that was designated as "if you don't match, you don't get" funds? Does that count as "He CUT THE funding" to you, COL? If so, your pronouns are wrong. It should be "She CUT THE funding" or "They CUT THE funding" because it then boils down to the Louisiana legislature or the state governor.
