What happend to my articles

gone?

Earlier today evrything was fine.
Then now I get "The article requested does not exist." if I try to view any of my articles. My userpage http://thomthom.wincustomize.com/ list some of my recent articles. But they all give the same message that they don't exist. When I click "More Articles" to get a list of all my articles I get this message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." However if I change the URL from thomthom.wincustomize.com to www.wincustomize.com it works. Is this issue local to me, or does anyone experience this as well?

Hello,

I am taking a look at the issue right now. However, from here I cannot reproduce the error. Could you please provide me/us with direct links to articles you are seeing this error? Also, what browser are you using?

This may also indicate that you are having DNS resolving issues. You can try to 'reset' that by closing all browsers, going to the start menu, finding the 'Run' item and launching cmd.exe. Then type in 'ipconfig /flushdns' (minus the ' on each side).

Thanks

Yesterday morning 9-7-2005 (US Central time) I was getting 'Article doesn't exist ...' message when clicking on this link:
http://pictoratus.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=85897
while on this page:
http://pictoratus.wincustomize.com/WatchList.aspx

Later that day, I was able to access the link with no problem. Today I can access it as well. I haven't flushed my dns cache, tried several times yesterday with browser shutdown and log off between attempts with no success. In short, no difference on my end from the time I couldn't access the page and the time I could. Using Firefox on XP Pro.

pictoratus : that type of behavior would indicate that there was a temporary db issue. I will be working over the course of the next few days to improve the visible messages that users see in that event.

thomassen's issue sounds to be more widespread and not limited to a particular day or article id.

I also noticed the behavior Thomas reported, and it seems okay now, with no action on my part.

Anything in particular that you did to fix the issue?
