This is old news, but I didn't even hear about it until today.
The Florida Marlins suspend their batboy for taking a dare to drink milk from Dodgers' pitcher, and former Marlin Brad Penny.
This definately goes under the "WHAT THE FUCK" category. As in "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY THINKING!!". Its a kid for crying out load. Just because he took a dare for $500 (and as a kid, you'd think you'd be rich after this kind of money) to drink a gallon of milk in less than an hour without throwing up, it's grounds for suspension. Seems like an innocent bet right, WRONG!!!. Well, not the the Marlins that is. I wonder what the kid would have gotten if someone had offered him to take X amount of steroids in X amount of time without dying, I wonder how many games the kid would have gotten suspended for that. Really, in this league, a guy gets suspended for 10 games for being juiced up, but a batboy, not a player a batboy, gets 6 games for drinkin milk. Again, "WHAT THE FUCK???!!!" What a joke...
Just goes to show how screwed up baseball is now-a-days....
