Hey, I figure if a certain C.O.L. can demand higher taxes, I can demand that a certain C.O.L. can be made to pay for his waste of bandwidth on the internet.

Higher taxes! Pshawwwwww! As if.

The answer isn't higher taxes (unless you want to tax the computer out of Gene's hand's, as he mis-uses it and turns it into a dangerous weapon -- remember, a mind is a terrible thing to waste!).

I won't waste the bandwidth to explain for the umpteenth time why the latest rantings of the resident bashin' lunatic fringe are b.s. I figure those will come a plenty by people that will answer the troll.

I'd gladly be the first in line to make payment for the service. If there was a way to contribute (Paypal contributions, whatever), I'd do just that. Hell, I'd pay triple if there was a way to guarantee that some individuals weren't permitted to post at all

You know, we should have a Joe User net-e-thon to raise money for disaster relief, to help get Fuzzy better, and whatever good causes may be out there. I figure there are several people that would answer "priceless" when asked what shutting the C.O.L. up would be worth.

Meanwhile, as to the C.O.L.'s latest demands for more taxes, and his cries that Bush cut money for flood controls, I would ask just how hypocritical the C.O.L. wants to be -- he preaches fiscal conservancy, cries for balancing the budget and no more deficit spending, then cries more when presented with evidence that budgets were being reigned in as best they could (the cuts in the funding for flood controls as an example).

Oh, I remember now, spending on something like "infrastructure" for a lost cause like protecting New Orleans is "good" deficit spending, spending on an "oil war" to make G.W. Bush's friends rich is "bad" deficit spending, right there Dabe and C.O.L.?

Finally, regarding money, effort, time, and more -- not that I want to call people out here, but I feel no need to defend my efforts to aid the disaster relief effort. I've given til it hurts and then some, and will be doing so in my next few pay checks through payroll deductions, even after the company I work for was a day late in getting started (I had already made a direct contribution to the Red Cross). I posted several reminders to all to please dig deep and give what they could. Yet, I expect that some people will be giving nothing. Of course, they'll blame that on Bush too. After all, it's all Bush's fault that no one has enough disposable income, especially because Bush helped raise the price of gasoline and make it scarce due to his lack of signing the flawed Kyoto treaty, due to his instigating the oil war in the middle east, and just about any other reason a lefty kool aid drinker can think of, RIGHT?!?!

Don't feed them MM, just "TROLL" them at every possible chance you can. Troll every post them make til they are sitting in a poo of negative points. Maybe they'll get the picture then.

Sometimes I wonder if the people here remember what blogging is. If you read an article and think "this $*@& should be censored," then either you're too old for this medium, or you need to consider doing some research.

On a blog, disagreement is not grounds for removal. Nor should it be anywhere, if you ask me. The only grounds for that type of action is harassment, or TROLLING. In that light, Col seems more a victim than an assailant.

Do you actually read the TROLLing posts that the C.O.L. leaves behind?

Seriously, if he (and a few others here) were taxed on the b.s. content, they'd single-handedly pay off the national debt in just a few weeks (if that long).
