The Most Powerful Woman in the World

World Leaders Kowtow to her

http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/article.adp?id=20050901033409990036

Is not Hillary Clinton, much as she hates to hear that.  Nor was Hillary ever able to exert this much power, for as it was reported:

Minutes after leaving President Omar el-Bashir's compound, Rice jabbed her finger at her top envoy in Khartoum.

Get the Sudanese on the phone, now, and make them apologize, Rice said. They quickly did.

Yes, Condi Rice can cow world leaders, without consulting or calling upon Bush first.  This very portrayal of her actions in Sudan show that all the naysayers and appologists who called Condi Rice an Uncle Tom, or "house nigger" for George Bush are so wrong as to be pathetically laughable.  No, it is not Condi barking at the door to be let in the White House.  It is Condi barking at the gurads to get out of her way because she IS going to talk to the president.

The most powerful woman in the world, probably since Queen Victoria of the 19th century, is not some white bread Political Schemer.  It is a black lady who earned the right to dictate the terms of her tenure.  It is a woman so strong that foreign leaders dare not piss her off, even while bad mouthing Bush or America in General.  In the words of the article:

Not since the days of Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger.....have a president and his top diplomat communicated so closely or understood one another so well.

That clearly indicates a co-equal relationship (as Hillary wanted to pretend she had) instead of a subserviant one.

Condileeza Rice is a role model for all women of all races.  Of a woman that made it in an admittedly male world, on her own, without a hand out.  A BLACK WOMAN who does not rely on the role of victim to get what she wants.  She is not only a role model for all women, she is a role model for all people.

Love him or hate him, anyone who would denigrate this woman just because of their hatred of Bush will never amount to anything.  They dont have the intelligence for rational cognizant thought.

The first black woman to be secretary of state, Rice is simultaneously on the cover of AARP's mass-mailed magazine this month and at the head of Forbes magazine's second annual list of the world's 100 most powerful women.

I dare say she would be in the top 5 of the worlds most powerful people.

So they can't be on her like white on rice?

She is an inspiration to women everywhere, and all I can say is...you GO, girl!

Not only to women, but to men as well.  America loves a winner, and she is a winner.

I just heard that Condi dear was busy buying thousands of dollars worth of shoes in NYC yesterday, instead of assisting in the relief efforts. In fact, the heads of FEMA and Homeland Security, those loverly dubya appointees, have absolutely no experience in disaster relief. this government, including condi dear, is out to lunch, buying shoes, vacationing, dictating to dictators, etc. They are needed now in this country, and they are out to lunch.

Besides, I hate her hairdo.

That gets the best pun of the day award!  !  As the leader of Sudan found out, you dont mess with her regardless of your views of Americans!

Dabe, instead of showing contempt for Condi, you show your ignorance.  State does not deal with Domestic Issues, but Interntaional ones.  SO what they hell can she do about the disaster?

Besides, it is not her hairdo you dont like, it is the fact she is a conservative that sticks in your craw.

you so smart. I hate her for selling out any sense of decency for the post in which she knows nothing, other than star wars. She's as pathetic as the rest of them. And all of those who support them.

As for dealing with international issues, that's just an apologist speaking. Since when do we compartmentalize a national disaster like that? We are all in this together. She is just one pathetic example of a bankrupt government unable to respond to the here and now, but only to the greed and selfishness of king george.

Which means (in english) you are jealous of her! Just admit it. It is good for the soul! You dont have to be a racist just because you dont like a non uncle tom black.

Again, she has NO AUTHORITY! Say it slow. BY DEFINITION THE CABINET IS COMPARTMENTALIZED!

And you just cant stand her because she defies your stereo type of blacks needing hand outs from the government to get along.

note to Dr G, if you're going to delete some of my responses, thats cool, but I'd appreciate it if you ALSO deleted the original comments, (both of them) that inspired the deleted response.)

Note to Whip. The first one was ok as it was a defense. The second one was an attack and as I have already said, I dont want it here on my blog. Sorry to offend you, but you get one warning on that as I will not have this excellent article on a Wonderful woman turned into a hate fest by those who call you a racist. No fuel, no fire.

Race baiting again, whip?

This one will be deleted. one more and you are on my black list. You have been warned.

I think George Bush has changed America with the appointment of Powell and now Rice. The fact that most Americans do not know whom C. Rice is in a time of war serves as testament to her success as Secretary of State. In general, people are not concerned with the stereotypical shortcomings of a Black Woman in such a high post, at such a difficult time for our country. Great post!

Why don't you just shut up, Mano, since you know not of what you speak. You arent blacklisted from my blog, so if you have something to say to me, say it there.

I have NOTHING to say to you, that's why I did not say anything on your thread. My views on racism are well known here nd I will not engage in a debate on it. Racism is wrong and I will not encourage it in any way by posting on a racist thread.

Bummer.

Thank you.

Both of Mano's were attacks. If they hadnt been, the defense you allowed to remain wouldnt have been necessary, correct?

He attacked, you defended.  Both are still there after he warning.  The second one was then a counter attack, and I dont want this to become a Race Baiting article.  It is not.  it is about one of the Greatest Women (regardless of race) of all time.  I put her above Margaret Thatcher and Indira Ghandi, and no one caught that, or intentionally refused to overlook it.

Thank you! My blog is miniscule in the grand scheme of things, but I admire this woman and wanted to show it in my small way.

Bummer.

You are the most powerful women from Texas living in Hawaii!

You are certainly the smartest and most beautiful; two out of three is not bad…
