I was home one day a number of years ago with a broken leg (like I am home today with a broken leg), and I was watching the Paris Air Show on TV. It really astounded me that the companies that showed their beautiful military aircraft were the same who also showed off their beautiful anti aircraft technology, basically selling opposite sides their technology. One side gets the aircrafts; the other side gets the tools to shoot them down. If that's not obcene, nothing is. I expect that the similar mindset that would oppose that kind of war profiteering will be at the air show. No big surprise there.
