I've just been informed that there are some technical difficulties on the server end, but you should have the beta very soon.

While you're waiting, you can connect to irc.stardock.com with SDC or another chat client and /join #galciv to chat with me and Gal Civ 2 beta testers.

Have you downloaded Stardock Central (SDC)? If not, download that from the Stardock site and see if you can input your registration key. SDC will download the up-to-date version of the Beta and install it for you. If you can't figure it out, try emailing the support people at Stardock.
