So after an agonizing trot through my taxes I was relieved to get a phone call from some friends to meet them for a drink on a Sunday night. Jumping at the chance to get away from forms and numbers characterizing a similarly boring weekend I quickly flew into my car to drive the near half hour to meet them. And damn did that pay off. In the midst of greasy food and beer someone suggested we plan a road trip in two weeks, and wallah! Something to look forward to. So two weeks from now I should be living it up in Chicago with some of my most favorite people on Earth....There goes my tax return...but here comes my sanity.

Chicago is a fun place to visit. Are you going to the Museum, Planetarium and Aquarium while there? I enjoy the Aquariun the best out of the three. We can take a train from where I live and be there in a few hours. It's always a nice place to visit.

I think we will definitely be hitting up some museums...maybe the Sears tower or some other things Ferris Bueler style. but the whole point of the trip is to get away from all the drama of schedules and such so I think a lot will be played by ear.
