After reading the article, i have to say they (IMO) did the best thing. I understand that Sheehan grieves for her son's death. But here once noble cause has become tainted by hatred, of bush. Her ad IMO, reflects that taint (for lack of a better term). Some claim that this was a victory for the bush camp. Victory? What, are we at war with each other? I must of missed something. I mean c'mon, the attitude over the war in iraq and cindy sheehan has become "war like". Its silly. The narrowmindness of both camps is futile. Why gnash our teeth at one another, when we have a bigger threat to deal with...guess what it is? Terrorism! Yeah, forget about that? Here on JU i see a "scuffle" between "rightwingers" and "leftwingers"...ya know what...i'm not either one, i refuse to be known as either, because the scuffles are childish and hypocritical. Just as the "scuffle" in crawford. How the H-E-double hockey sticks are we supposed to focuss on the REAL troubles, the REAL bad guys when we let these types of things go on... Let it go, move on...

I guess you DID miss something,Lucas.  We ARE at war with each other.  Were you asleep during the last election?  How about the one before that?

There are people in this country who would love to see us get our asses kicked in Iraq so that they could say they proved Bush wrong.  That sickens me...it disgusts me that my husband and his colleagues, my family and my friends families sacrifice and go without so that pieces of garbage like that can live here and speak freely.  

I seem to recall an article a while back where you identified yourself as a left winger.  Is that not the case anymore?

--Two things: 1)A war is only a war if both sides want it to be. 2) Why do we have to be at war with each other? Its like some advice given to me, if you and someone else is having a fight, don't butt heads and scream louder than them, be the reasonable person and state your reason, and let it go...you won't be the one looking like a JackASS, they will...

--Hmmm...i don't know. My views kinda place me with that side, but i feel like i am betraying my family, heritage, and hometown by doing so...perhaps i'm a flippin purple monkey...
