problem with bootskin

halo...im new here...
just hoping to get a solution due to my pc's problem
i'd accidentally deleted my shell.dll(sort of *.dll file...cnt really remember the name)
which was not letting me to change my boot skin
any ways to recover the file???

well...if you're running xp (or 2000) u can try the system restore feature.

Windows 2000 doesn't have System Restore, that's ME you're thinking of which doesn't support BootSkin.

If you deleted shell.dll, then your system would have more problems then just BootSkin.

If you deleted vidstub.sys, that's a BootSkin file and you only have to reinstall BootSkin.
