Im sure you could do this youreslf. It would be very simple. Check out The Icon-A-Day totorial sires. You could make this with the free version of corel in about 2 minutes. Without much effort.

Have you considered trying to make it on your own? I shouldnt be too hard. Check out the Icon-A-Day tutorial series for help. If you use the free version of CorelDraw, you should be able to get a good start in about 2 minutes!

i have photoshop, but i only know the basics, so im going to read up on some tutorials for that, btw i couldnt find a "free" version of CorelDraw. and i have tried to make it on my own, its just 2 complicated for me rite now, but once i learn enough about it, whenever that is, since i have school starting, i will be able to make my own icons.

btw i dont use icon packager etc, i only have photoshop, but i can save as .png and .ico

There should be a trial version on the corel website... its a good product! Photoshop might do you just fine, but remember that the tutorials are corel-based.

i found other tutorials from google for photoshop which will help me but i think i will also try corelDraw

Anyway...I use "icon developer" and its easy to make an icon out of anything ..even a screen shot of something can be made into an icon after making background transparent. Im not always able to do that part because I dont have photoshop. Im not sure if there is a trial version of Icon Developer or not but it comes with Object Desktop as well as skin studio, Icon Packager and a bunch of good stuff for one price $ 49.95 ) still a good deal ..
