Why!? The growing economy narrows the budget gap for US gov!

Gee, with articles detailing why the growing economy isn't helping average Americans (which btw, is a complete mis-use of the label, considering there are North Americans, including Canadians, Mexicans, United States of America "Americans", not to mention South Americans including Brazilians, Venezuelans, Peruvians, Argentinians, Columbians and a host of other countries that all could claim to be Americans), why has the following information apparently been ignored, yet again, by people that can never say anything at all positive about our (the U.S.A.'s) current administration?

From MSNBC, originally via Reuters. Ignored by most mainstream media, and all card carrying Bush bashers everywhere:
Budget gap narrows to $52.79 billion in July
Year-to-date deficit stands nearly $94 billion below last year's level
WASHINGTON - The U.S. posted a smaller than expected $52.79 billion budget deficit in July as revenues swelled, a Treasury Department report showed Wednesday.
Wall Street analysts had expected the government to post a $57 billion budget gap in July, following a $69.16 billion deficit in the same month in 2004.
In its monthly budget statement, the Treasury Department said government receipts rose to $142.09 billion in July — a record high for the month — compared to $134.42 billion in July last year. Outlays fell to $194.88 billion from $203.58 billion in July 2004.

So, the budget deficit shrinks, and we hear nothing but crickets? Revenues coming into the government go up, and again, crickets?
The best we can get is another tired old Bush bashing article on topic #49, with mis-representation #98 and #99 being used as justification?!?
What a great time to be an American. I do wonder how the average American feels about it all. Perhaps I should make a pen-pal down in Venezuela and ask them. Or maybe in Peru. Maybe a random international phone call to Brazil will tell me. Yup, I got a feeling that's the way to go.
