Why the growing pile of Bush bashing articles does nothing

It seems that a certain Clueless Old .... is at it again with another Bush bashing article.

But for the all blowhardiness does even a single word that the basher writes even make a lick of difference?

There are grand and glorious words that are often mis-spelled. Grammatical errors that would make many K-12 English teachers cringe, and factual errors or mis-statements that can be seen by Stevie Wonder from 5 miles away. Yet people keep falling for the trolling trap, and keep arguing with the brick wall, all with no real impact except for a few JoeUser points for the basher.

The sad thing is that the energy that the Clueless one has expended in writing the articles and bashing Bush repeatedly in efforts to blame every single thing directly on Pres. Bush is nothing but a complete and total waste. Personally, I wouldn't use the Clueless one's published books for anything but wiping my butt or starting a camp fire. It's a waste of precious resources, including paper and ink. I wish that a few of the more liberal visitors to this site, especially the "protect the natural resources, reduce, re-use, and recycle crowd" would take a few individuals -- especially one particular individual -- to task for the waste.

Then there's a waste of computing resources, server space at JU and search engine space out on the net for the same crap repeated again and again. Not to mention the waste of electricity used to power the computer systems used for the crap that seems to be written to do nothing more than provide someone who must talk an avenue to keep going on the same repetitive rants.

I would point most of the visitors to the Clueless articles to some articles that a few others have posted over time... you know, the standard "list" of reasons that Bush is to blame for all that ails. The standard list of ailments, the whole tired pile of dung.

It would make it easier for the C.O.L. to post a new article:

Ailment: #9
Fact: #10 and Fact: #11

Just choose from the Al a carte menu and make it easier on everyone. No typos. No blame on the dictatorial machine. Just a few more wasted watts of electricity along the way for the machines that are involved.

It's his opinion Terp. And sometimes he's dead on the money. Not always though. We all have our moments.

I can't help but wonder if by writing this, you inadvertently drew more attention his way. I'm sure that wasn't your intention.

it aint as if there aren't a whole lotta redundant perspectives on all sides of the political spectrum nor others constantly banging their own peculiar rhythms loudly and persistently using their own favorite well-worn drums.

i do like the concept of numbering the classics ala the old joke about the guys who did that with old jokes, altho my brother and i found it more fun to use the punchline rather than reducing them all to a mere number. in other words, instead of attempting to entertain each other with a stark 'number 54' (which woulda sufficed for the entire bit) we'd go the extra distance by drolly quipping: 'tired? you think you're tired? i lost the hotdog five bars back'.

so i guess i'm responding to your suggestion by super-suggesting someone draw up a list of popular political arguments from each of which we all restrict ourselves solely to its conclusion in the interest of brevity and conserving virtual paper and ink.

i'll be happy to initiate the process by proudly tossing out the very first one:

'because the president said so!'

As you have heard before, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

EXCEPT

If it is a military one, then it is only right once a day.

Depends on the clock, doc. (HA-HA) I got an old navy gun clock that is in a 12hr format. It was used to help aim the big guns on battleships and destroyers during WW2.

The C.O.L. is back again this a.m. with another article. I guess he got new batteries for the dictatorial machine or something.

I really wish the white coats would catch him again and deny him the computer time, but apparently we can't be so lucky. (Either that, or ultimate justice could prevail and he'd get recalled to active duty and shipped over seas to replace someone else. Of course that might not be happening because the C.O.L. may not have been as important a military cog as he leads on....)
