I am sorry to say it is not the fault of the Japanese ,or the Americans but the War Administrations and bunch of Crazy Scientists
The Scientists who turned science from helping the humans to have better life to making the lives of humans full of fear and hate
They were crazy just like the American administration and The Japanese administration ,may be the Americans had the right to answer back Pearl harbor but they presented to the world a weapon they now fear more than anyone
They were crazy like the Japanese administration who suddenly decided to go in the world by the terms of wars and destruction and no one will stop the sword of the Samurai , ironically it was the Sword of the Last Samurai
When the Japanese prime minstrel apologized to all Asian countries from the Suffering the Japanese army caused ,it was a late apology from an Egyptian emotional person point of view

Hundreds of Chinese civilians killed in the streets in Shanghai ,it is terrible image with children bodies beside their moms , all thanks to some strange thoughts in the Japanese mind

All the crimes that the Japanese Army perpetrated in Shanghai does not justify the Atmoic Bombing of civillian non combatants.

The people who died in Asia because of Japenese Army were more civilians than Combatants
I agree with you that nothing Justify bombing the civilians in Hiroshima but things led to things ,it is blood circle ,the civilians always pay the price
I look it from the Egyptian philosophy that you pay a price for what you did , and Japenese did alot in the Asia that till now Korea and China people didn't forget , and they paid very high price
The American administration didn't have any excuse if throwing the bomb to finish the war in such a way
anyway all wars the civilians die more than the combatants

Yes, the Trinity test on July 16th gave them a glimpse of what would happen, however the Trinity Test was done under controlled condiitons. No one knew if the bomb could actually be dropped and work correctly. They knew what would happen, they just did not know IF it would happen.

I do not think so. They wanted to end the war and also show the other superpowers what we had.

that what I mean that most policy makers don't think in the future ,and even if they did it is for the short term future
Just for ending the war and showing off the weapons and powers we got is short term thinking
