Hey!!! You!! Over here! Can't you see me jumping up and down and begging for a recess appointment?!?! Can I have one, huh? Can I? Can I?
I'm sure I'm late on this one, as I can hear the TV blaring behind me (CNN going to town telling the viewers that the blogosphere is going wild), but what the heck.
I really want me one of dem dare recess appointments. Heck, I'll take an appointment as a recess monitor, kickin' kids off the play-ground when recess time is up. Please! Pretty please?!
Honestly, I just want an appointment that will tick off the Democrats. Make me damaged goods, I don't care. Put me in a position where it would be a travesty (or whatever the exact word was that Ted Kennedy used, which was pretty ironic, since he would definitely no what a travesty of justice is, wouldn't he?!). Let it make the Christopher Dodd's of the world fume. Anything that would do that would be a great thing for the U.S.A., at least in the eyes of many (probably not in the eyes of the minority that thing that Dodd and Kennedy have been doing their stone-walling in the name of progress for the country).
Anyway, please, someone give me an appointment. I'll be sure to make it worth the effort
