REQUEST - Alternate friend-or-foe ship coloring option for mini-map

I was playing Altarian Prophecy today on a huge map on computer with a max resolution of 1024x768. As you can imagine, the mini-map is quite small. Ships on the mini-map are only tiny dots, and it is hard to distinguish which color is which. The only ones that are really clear are the RED Drengin ships, and all the others look white. I know you *can* zoom in, but that defeats the purpose of having one view of the entire galaxy for strategy purposes. I was in a war on three sides, so I needed to see the entire map all at once.

My suggestion:
It would be really helpful if there was a toggle-option for an alternate friend-or-foe color scheme for ships on the mini-map. What I'm suggesting is
GREEN: My ships and ships that belong to AI races that I have an alliance with
YELLOW: Ships belonging to AI races that I am not at war with, and not allied with
RED: Ships belonging to AI races that I am at war with, as well as other hostile stuff (pirates, monsters, etc.)

Not a bad idea I think.

Actually, I think it's an important idea to include that, especially considering that color blind people probably play this game too.

An excellent idea. But for those that are color changed, perhaps let them select their own colors.

The tactical map on GC1 was very nice. If this was included on that map as well, it would be a real big enhancement to the game's playability.

You probably saw my typo. I meant "color chalanged".
