Getting a chance to catch up a bit on articles now that JoeUser seems to be working again... in the process, I stumble upon this great article by Island Dog, found through Political Machine.com forums: Another reason not to give terrorists lawyers
Well, I say Island Dog is just wrong, wrong, wrong!
Give the Terrorist Lawyers please, as many as possible. More than one to a customer. As many as we can possibly unload onto the terrorists. As many as they can handle at a time.
And let the Terrorists "practice on" or "play with" the lawyers. Let them use them for their own twisted purposes, until perhaps some of these "all people have rights" and "all people deserve representation" come to the conclusion that some vermin and scum just do not deserve to continue breathing and do not deserve the "rights" that we grant to our citizens.
Perhaps when there's a few less bleeding heart lawyers running around representing these killers, helping to get them released so they can go back and rejoin the battles against us, the problems will be fewer and fewer.
Teddy Kennedy wants to close down Gitmo and stop the hypocrisy - perhaps he could personnally represent some of these scum and spend a little time with them....
It's just a damn shame that (to our knowledge) these scum aren't cannibalistic... if they were, I'd suggest FEEDING THE LAWYERS to them. Sadly though, that would probably truly be in-humane and against their religious beliefs -- most don't want to eat pork, and most of these damn lawyers are pigs (or at least are filthy scum also).
(With apologies to the few "good" lawyers out there that do look out for the real innocents among us....)
