I am seeing a bunch of hit and miss posts about issues that people are having.  However, it is impossible for the web programmers to find the reports in this fashion.  Though Cordelia can relay the messages, she can't actually fix the issues (as can none of us expect the web team).

So, please post your issues here.  *BUT*, when you do, make sure that you are giving every detail possible.  A "this site is acting odd" report will get us nowhere.  Post when, where, and how the problem occurred.  Also let us know what browser you are using and if you have already tried cleaning your cookies.  Reproducible issues are easiest to track (with info on how to reproduce them) so, please try to reproduce the issue prior to reporting it.

Please remember that the more info you provide, the more likely it can be fixed.

Could it be that a copy of the avatar is saved with the post? or just a link? that would be horrendous waste of space.

That is a new bug.  I have seen others add avatars and they back filled (mine is so old, I do not think I can find a post before I had it).  I think they can correct that one fairly easily.

It still is an IE world.  Use IE to post to it.  It stinks, but works.

Support for Firefox appears to be getting worse.

And in IE I appear to be unable simply to paste text into the text field. Instead a small window comes up and claims that I am pasting from Word (which I am not).

Can somebody please fix this (or revert to last year's JU)?

I don't know if this is the correct place for help fixing my problem or even if the problem can be fixed!  

Anyway, I just inadvertently nuked one of my articles from the forums 408056...entitled

Why so many different religions?
Nothing happened when I tried to refresh the page.
Is there anyway I can get my article back on board?

Since the site maintenance 4-5 days ago, load times for JU forums are crazy long here.  Used to be longer than most sites, but now out there with the Dalai Lama.

Others experiencing this?  Just me?

I have been posting on this site for the last 6 years. Of late when I try to submit the article for uploading it just disappears. Apparently there is smoe problem with the category bar on the right of the post screen.

Something has happened to mess my article , Why So Many Different Religions.

I cannot comment in the usual fashion as the comment space has been moved to the side.

Also there is no edit, reply or quote button at the bottom.

How can I remedy this?

Edit: the problem seems to be only when I open on Mozilla Firefox which was my favorite! Darn.

I am not able to post any article as the up;oad function does not work and has quit working, at least in my part of the world since September 2011. I hope the problem is fixes. Basically the category menu does not allow me tpo choose the category and then the text disappears.
