The Day before terrorists slammed London, Barbara "Nothing is too stupid to say" Boxer made a speech lashing out on the war on Terror.

"The insurgents are winning the propaganda wars now,'' she said.

"Terrorism is a result of this war,''

No, the insurgents are not.  They are winning the press war.  And I think 9-11 showed that Terrorism is not the result of the war, it is the reason for the war!

I sometimes wonder how people so stupid can continue to get elected.  I guess the Terrorist used a time machine after Iraq to go back and hit the WTC in September 2001.  Probably did that in 93 too!  I did not realize they had access to such technology.

What an ultra maroon!  What an imbecile!  Thank god I am 3000 miles away from her home.  I just mourn for family and friends who have to live near her.

man, after I read your article, some really nasty nicknames came to mind for "this female"....
I think the heat is getting to me, I usually don't think mean things even when someone is as "estupido" as her!!

Truly amazing how some people's minds can twist facts into such bizarre forms. I suppose she believes that terrorism never existed prior to the war? All of the similar events prior to the war were just unfortunate accidents I suppose. Too bad she wasn't a passenger on one of those planes on 9/11/01. She would certainly have had a different perspective, if only for a brief moment or two.

I think we are kind of naive about it, actually. I think this person is a politician. I think, like their vote for the Iraq war, they look at a poll of their particular area and decide what to say. She sees that her wacko voting base really hates war, so she's doing the peacenik, anti-America thing.

If tomorrow there's some huge shift in opinion, she'll be right there rallying the troops. They sold out to go to Iraq, and then when they heard their Democratic base start to waver and blame them for voting for the war they shifted and pretended that WMDs were why they did it.

She's no pro-terrorist, she's pro-Boxer. She just places more importance on her career than the future of her country.
