New Skinnable Font Viewer / Browser

http://www.ciansoftware.com/
Hi everyone, I've just put up version 1 of my new skinnable font app at www.ciansoftware.com for immediate download - would appreciate it if people would check it out and let me know what you think!

Cheers

Ian

First impression.....
Not resizable (aggravating)
Can't view fonts in non-default folder. (makes it useless to me)
$35 US Dollars
I don't mind paying for software, but only if it's useful. Being skinnable is nice, but WindowBlinds skins my present font viewers/managers quite nicely...

Sorry, but I'm not impressed with version 1.

Try Fontbook by AndreasV. It not only let's you view the fonts, but lets you enable/disables them also.

Guys.... he asked for evaluations of his font viewer, not links to others...... play fair.

Your evaluation turned me off to even checking his out. Sorry.

Same here. As soon as I saw the $35, my mouse instinctively moved away from the link. Not that I mind paying $35 for software, but not for a font viewer. And the rest of the negative review only reinforced that.

Yeah.... I guess it would have been the same here if one of you guys pointed those things out.

I already have 2 great font viewer/managers (one was free, the other $5), and the only way I would consider paying for another is if it had the ability to convert postscript fonts to something I could use with Paint Shop Pro. Don't know if that's even possible, but I'd sure like such a program.

Well, thanks for the responses, guys. I am adding as many features as I can at them moment such as the ability to view fonts that haven't been installed yet and a character map viewer that lets you see the entire unicode char set...

Anyway, thanks
