Access to the beta is now closed to standalone GalCiv 2 orders. The only way to get access now is to purchase the game via TotalGaming.net (i.e., pre-order a TotalGaming membership so that when we launch the service publically next week you'll be able to spend Tokens on GC2 and get the beta also.).
Could you just explain in simple terms
.
), in the post about TotalGaming it says that people who were already subsribed get access to the games before June for free, is this the same for people who register now?

I fear not. You will need to spend 5 tokens (a TGN subscription is 70$ = 10 token) to have the final game.
But I may be wrong.

Let me see if I can clear this up (sorry for being confusing.
):
Beta 2 of GalCiv II is now closed if you preorder GalCiv 2 alone. If you become a TotalGaming.net member (launching next week to new customers), you may gain access to Beta 2 by preordering GalCiv 2 through your TG.net membership (5 Tokens).
No decision has been made yet on who will have access to Beta 3 this Fall. I'll see if we can get this point cleared up for everyone. Being a TotalGaming.net member alone no longer grants you the ability to take part in Betas automatically.
If you become a TotalGaming.net member now, you do not get access to the old games. You will get 10 Tokens that you can use to purchase any of the available titles.
Ok, now all i need to do i get the money for the membership
