Maps in GalCiv 2 beta

Hi.
You saw a beta of GalCiv 2? I wonder how big are maps. On screens I`ve only see
maps 9:9 sectors i GalCiv1 there are 27:27 sectors! Are there in 2 so big maps?

The beta (as released so far) has only two map sizes. I did some snooping in the files and found the controls for turning on the larger size maps, but they are not supported on Beta 2. Cari says they won't be supported until they get time to do the work needed to support them.

Well I think part of the problem is that until recently the generation of maps was rather inefficient.

Also we simply don't need the larger maps at this point, its early days.

For the record, we only have access to Tiny and Small maps at the moment, so plenty larger ones yet to come.
