Custom Race Suggestion

I may be getting ahead of the development team, or this may have already been suggested, and if so, my apologies. One thing I'm sure many people would like to see when creating their own empires is the ability to choose and create their own race 'portrait' and symbol. Would it be possible to create a folder for each of these and be able to put .JPG or .GIF files in there and be able to select them from a pop up list of thumbnails on the screen? Along with those, would it be possible to also release several backgrounds for which to put your race portrait on or even include some race/symbol portraits with the game? While I'm sure you have more important things that need done, I just wanted throw this out there.

You can already put your own race portraits and logos in for custom races, in the folder \Gfx\Race\Custom, if they are saved in the .png format.

CariElf, can you clarify whether these PNGs should really be in a "Custom" folder?

I just got the beta yesterday and one of the first things I did before even playing the game was create a custom portrait and logo >8), but I put the files in the Gfx\Race folder and just named them RaceImage10.png, RaceLogo10.png, and Small\RaceLogo10.png

There is no Custom folder in my install, and if I create one, would I have to create a seperate Small folder inside the Custom folder?

The way I did it (described above) worked, but there were some problems. I am starting a new thread about those though since the sticky at the top said that's the way to do things.
