Who is going to save the born?

We seem to hear a lot about the rights of the unborn and the tragedy of abortion.

However, at the same time there exists an abominable rate of abuse for children in foster care. And at the same time abandoned American children languish in state custody and at orphanages.

If anyone beleives in the "culture of life" arguments, where are those who are fighting to save the born?

There are a lot of them, maybe you should get involved and see that there are a great many people who donate their time, effort, and prayers to these kids.

Also, I'd add that while older kids do suffer often in the adoption system, newborns do not. The 'languishing in foster care' junk is moot in terms of an excuse for abortion. To many couples wait years and even have to pay thousands in foreign countries to adopt a baby.

Should they adopt an older child instead? Maybe it would be more selfless. In terms of the abortion question YOU bring up, though, it is moot. Women don't abort 10 year-olds, they abort newborns that many, many people are waiting to adopt.
