Seven key senators are standing in the way of Social Security reform through Personal Retirement Accounts (PRAs).
The fight over Social Security is heating up on Capitol Hill, and President Bush is working with principled conservative legislators to enact Social Security reform. Unfortunately, this issue is stalling in Congress because certain lawmakers are stonewalling any discussion on personal accounts. Seven of these senators are particularly crucial for any reform bill, which is why we need you to tell them to stop stalling on PRAs!
Nearly all Americans would benefit from President Bush’s plan to let workers invest their Social Security taxes in a personal account. These accounts will grow with the economy, averting the Social Security crisis while providing retirees with bigger benefits.
