Problem with Windowfx Maximize

I use WindowFx 2.11. About half of the times that I maximize a window (any window), the window shrinks to the size of the window title bar, as well as the length of only the maximize minimize buttons. And every time this happens I have to stretch the window back to a normal size. It happenes way too often. (Limit to a specific maximized window size is not ticked)
If anyone came across this phenomena I'd cherish the help greatly.

P.S - it is very, very annoying.

I am seeing the EXACT same behavior. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer. Running on an NVidia GE Force FX 5900 card with the latest drivers.

I installed the full version yesterday (Windows 2000 SP4 with a NVidia GeForce 3 (latest drivers)) and experiencing EXACTLY the same issue. It happens to EVERY window I maximize.

The OP is right: it is extremely irritating.

Just Googled for an answer... got this thread.

When is an update for this app forthcoming, I wonder?

WFX 2.11 is not the latest version.

WFX 2.19 contains a fix for this resize problem and the beta of WFX 2.5 should be out this week I hope.

You should be able to install 2.19 by downloading Stardock Central & entering your WindowFX serial number.

2.19 does fix the issue, but makes it work really bad with dual monitors. as in, u can no longer maximize any window. i have since disabled secondary monitor until a proper fix is made.
