No more Wallpaper Xchange ?

I've noticed that most DesktopX Themes require the use of Wallpaper Xchange in order to change the wallpaper while that theme is active. Fine, I'll be happy to download it. Only... It won't download!! I've tried Firefox and IE from two different physical locations with essentially the same results. Firefox says the connection is refused when trying to DL it; IE goes to the ubiquitous "Page cannot be displayed" or some such message page.

Is there some alternate download site for this excellent program? I've already tried contacting the author without success. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

* If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
* Open the sysmetrix.skwire.net home page, and then look for links to the information you want.

Exactly. That's the error page that appears in IE. Sounds like the sysmetrix.skwire.net server is down or has been removed. Temporarily or permanently, I don't know. In the meantime, is there a chance some kind soul out there would be willing to host this file and post the link here for people like myself to obtain it? Even if only for a day or two? Or even to email the file to me ([email protected])?

This wouldn't be a problem if there were some way around it. Some way to change the wallpaper while one of those DesktopX Themes is active. Unfortunately, I have found none so far, so I don't really want to use any themes yet until I can get this program. (I hate not having control over my own wallpaper!)

Tried emailing him two days ago; no response. And it's not just Wallpaper XChange. I think it's all of his software products, because I got the same result when trying to download SysMetrix.

Right now I host the downloads on another machine for bandwidth reasons, and it appears as though that server died a while ago. I’ve been on vacation touring some of our National Parks, so have been out of touch for a few weeks. I contacted the guy who runs the download server, but it may be a bit before it’s up again. I’ll hang out for another couple of days and if it’s not fixed I’ll reroute the downloads to server that hosts the web page.
