Even before reading this comment the pic made me think about a girl I used to know who spent a month in India, but never talked about it. Most people who return from foreign countries can't shut up about it, so I was curious and pried. She finally described one scene where she had to cover herself with a blanket in the back seat of a car "so the rampaging mob wouldn't beat and rape me." Oh. And there's the time I watched a news report where Pakistani policemen dispersed a mob
by beating them with a stick. It just seemed a little too nonchalant and run of the mill, like this sort of thing happens every day over there.
Bhapindra: "Hi honey, how was your day?"
Parbinder: "Oh, sold a few propane units, got beat with stick by cop, no big whoop."
All of this is just a roundabout way of saying this is one strange world, and I like photo funnies.
